Kassey Rose Massey

Kassey Rose Massey, 30, of Lebanon, IL, died Thursday, April 4, 2013, at Christian Hospital, St. Louis, MO, with her family by her side.

She was born July 31, 1982, to Mark and Tracy (Nee Zitta) Massey, at Belleville Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL.

Kassey was a member of Spina Bifida Association and she was a Poster Child for March of Dimes.  She loved her family.  She loved to swim.  She played wheelchair sports when she was younger.  She loved to play cards.  She loved her cat, Hopper.

She is survived by her parents, Tracy Newton, St. Louis, MO, Mark (significant other, Penny Harbert) Massey, Coffeen, IL; 1 sister, Jessica (fiance’ Andy Brockhahn) Massey; 1 brother, Mark Meade Massey; grandparents, John and Patricia Zitta, Ron and Shirley Massey; niece, Kaela Brockhahn; numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Memorials may be made to National Kidney Foundation or St. Louis Spina Bifida Association.
