Karen Sue Davis

Karen S. Davis, 65, of Lebanon, TN, died Saturday, July 26, 2014.

Karen was born October 1, 1948, to Joseph and Violet (nee Elder) Rapien, in Highland, IL. On June 18, 1966, she married Donald Davis at St. Paul Catholic Church, Highland, IL.

She was very involved in her church, St. Frances Cabrini, in Lebanon, TN.

She married the love of her life and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed baking cookies.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Davis; 2 children, Sheila (Scott) McClellan and James (Lisa) Davis; 5 grandchildren, Shanea Rose McClellan, Kyla (Dillon) Murphy, Scott (Karen) Ferrill, Marie Wease, and Ray Wease; 2 great-grandchildren, Kissara Ferrill and David Wease; 5 brothers, Jim Rapien, Ken (Hulene) Rapien, Lynn (Laurie) Rapien, Larry (Debbie) Rapien, and Michael (Mary Ellen) Rapien; 2 sisters, Betty (Tim) Gilfoyle and Mary Rapien; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Violet Elder Rapien; a daughter, Jennifer Davis and a son, Greg Davis.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.

Visitation: Monday, July 28, 2014, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, at Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon, TN, and Wednesday, July 30, 2014, from 5:00 – 8:00 pm and Thursday, July 31, 2014, from 8:00 - 10:00 am, at the Meridith Funeral Home, Highland, IL
