Karen Jane Berberich, 44, of Lebanon, IL, died Monday, January 19, 2015, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Belleville, IL.

Karen was born on December 3, 1970, to Allen and Arleen (nee Steinkamp) Berberich in Belleville, IL.

Karen was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Lebanon. She worked at Hardees Restaurant in Lebanon, then at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville. Most recently she worked at McKendree University in Lebanon. She graduated from Lebanon High School in 1990.

She is survived by her parents, Allen and Arleen Berberich, Lebanon, IL; 1 sister, Mary Berberich, Lebanon, IL; several aunts, uncles, cousins.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul United Church of Christ, Lebanon, IL, American Heart Association, or American Kidney Foundation.

Visitation: Thursday, January 22, 2015, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm and Friday, January 23, 2015, from 10:00 to 11:00 am, at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Lebanon, IL.

Funeral Service: Friday, January 23, 2015 at 11:00 am at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Lebanon, IL.
