Joyce Lilian (nee Tobin) Paradis, 93, of Highland, IL, died Saturday, January 18, 2020, at Faith Care Center, Highland, IL.
Joyce was born March 1, 1926, to Albert and Alice (nee Morse) Tobin, in Hounslow, England. On August 5, 1944, she married Robert Paradis at St. Paul Church in England.
She served in the Royal British Air Force.
Joyce loved antiquing and thrift stores. She taught dance at Arthur Murray Dance School in New York. She liked to paint. She also raised dogs.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Rick) Clink, San Jose, CA; granddaughter, Tracy Sanflippo; great granddaughter, Paloma; sister, Jean Sander, Highland, IL; niece, Nancy (Doug) Heidbrink, Highland, IL, and Beverly Wilcox, Highland, IL; nephew, Steve (Brenda) Sander, New Douglas, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Alice Tobin; husband, Robert Paradis; brother-in-law, Orville Sander.
