Joe Tomblinson

Joe Tomblinson, age 80 of West Salem, IL passed from this life to the next on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Richland Nursing and Rehab in Olney, IL.
Joe was born in West Salem on April 22, 1940 to George Tomblinson and Mary Margaret (Taylor) Tomblinson.
He married Myrna Junkins on October 5, 1957 in Lake Charles, LA and they were partners in life almost 56 years, until Myrna passed on April 21, 2013.
Joe was a member of the House of Prayer in Albion, IL
He was a truck driver and was employed with Champion Laboratories for many years. Joe had a love for the outdoors, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, collecting guns, and loved riding motorcycles and ATV’s.
He is survived by two sons; Danny (Ruby) Tomblinson and Dave (Vicki) Tomblinson both of West Salem, one brother Darrel (Kathy) Tomblinson of Olney, three grandchildren; Robert (Jamie) Tomblinson, Lauren (Jeremy) Givens, Shauna Tomblinson, and 4 great-grandchildren.
Joe was proceeded in death by his wife, Myrna, his parents and brothers George Jr., Don, and John.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
