Jesse M. Powell, Jr.

Jesse M. Powell, Jr, 59 of Alhambra, IL, formerly of Belleville, IL area died January 25, 2009 at 8:35 a.m. at Hitz Memorial Home, Alhambra, IL.  He was born in E. St. Louis, IL May 12, 1949 to Jesse M. and Wilma R. (Davenport) Powell, Sr.

He is survived by:  One daughter, Kathy Jo (Mike) Kysor, Mascoutah, IL; Two sons, Jesse W. (Miranda) Powell III, Freeburg, IL; Blake Powell of North Carolina; 8 Grandchildren; his parents  of St. Jacob, IL, one brother - Thomas L. Powell of California, and one sister - Barbara A. (Keith) Hilderbrand of Sorento, IL and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Roy Eugene Powell.

VISITATION:  Wednesday, Jan. 28 from 9;00 - 10:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic church, St. Jacob, IL.

MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL:  Wednesday, Jan. 28th at 10:00 a.m. @ St. James Catholic Church in St. Jacob, IL with the Rev. Msgr. Kenneth Steffen, Pastor, officiating.   Burial in Keystone Cemetery,  St. Jacob, IL
