Janice Lynn Rowark

Janice Lynn Rowark, 69, of Fairfield, IL. passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at Aperion Care in Fairfield, IL.

Janice was born July 25, 1953, to Oral Jasper and Blanche (Wheeler) Rowark in Fairfield, IL.

Janice had retired from the medical field as a Registered Nurse. She was a loving caring nurse that had so much compassion for her residents. Her other loves were her children, and her animals.

Janice is survived by her daughter Jennifer (Jimmy) Simmons of Geff, IL, a son Bobby (Tracy) Watson of Olney, IL; three grandchildren Jade Zumbahlen, Hailey Simmons and Lainie Simmons, three great grandchildren, Karmyn Zumbahlen, Eli Zumbahlen and Jax Zumbahlen; also surviving one sister Kay Rowark of Fairfield, IL. and a brother David Rowark of Noble, IL.

Preceding her in death were her parents, two brothers, Jackie Rowark and Franklin Rowark, three sisters Marcella Defenbach, Linda Wood, and Margaret Garrett.

Graveside services will be Sunday, January 15, 2023, at 1:00 pm.in Koontz Cemetery south of Fairfield, IL. Family and friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery.

Memorials may be given to the family to help with expenses and will be accepted at the graveside service and Hosselton-Meridith Funeral Home.
