Jane L. Stieb

Jane L. (nee Pfister) Stieb, 84, of Highland, IL, died Wednesday, August 29, 2018, at Hitz Nursing Home, Alhambra, IL.

Jane was born May 14, 1934, in Highland, IL. She was the daughter of the late Eldo and Mildred (nee Mueller) Pfister.

She married Bill Stieb on June 25,1953, in Highland, IL.

She was a 1952 graduate (Valedictorian) of Highland High School. She was a member of the Evangelical United Church of Christ, Highland Women’s Club, Bridge Club, Book Club, and Highland Historical Society.

She is survived by her Husband, Bill Stieb; two Daughters, Kathy Mehalko and Barbara Speed; two Sons, Daniel Stieb and Scott (Tammy) Stieb; 10 Grandchildren, and 3 Great Grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice or the Hitz Memorial Home.

Visitation: Saturday, September 1, 2018, from 2:00 to 6:00 pm, at Meridith Funeral Home, Highland, IL, and Sunday, September 2, 2018, from 12:00 to 1:00 pm, at Evangelical United Church of Christ, Highland, IL.

Funeral Service: Sunday, September 2, 2018, at 1:00 pm, at Evangelical United Church of Christ, Highland, IL.

Clergy: Rev. Wil Verduin, Associate Pastor.

Interment: Highland City Cemetery, Highland, IL.
