Jane Beth Hogg

Jane Beth Hogg (Nee Carson), 60, of Lebanon, IL, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, O’Fallon, IL, after her battle with cancer, with her family by her side.

She was born June 13, 1957, in Belleville, IL to Kenneth and Viola (Nee Nail) Carson in O’Fallon, IL. On October 6, 1979, she married Joseph Hogg in O’Fallon, IL.

Jane worked for the Bank of O’Fallon for 9 years, then worked as a secretary for the Lebanon Elementary School for 28 years. She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Lebanon, IL and Lebanon Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

She enjoyed being with all her kids at the elementary school and spending time with her family and friends, especially her 2 granddaughters. She also loved going to the stock car races, watching NASCAR, the St. Louis Blues and the St. Louis Cardinals.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Joseph Hogg, Lebanon, IL; sons, Kyle (Sloane) Hogg, Lebanon, IL, Travis Hogg, Lebanon, IL; her father, Kenneth Carson, O’Fallon, IL; brother, Rick (Beth) Carson, O’Fallon, IL; sister, Kay (Roger) Ahrens, Lebanon, IL; grandchildren, Allie and Macie Hogg.

Jane was preceded in death by her mother, Viola Carson; brother, Steve Carson.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul United Church of Christ, Lebanon, IL or Lebanon Emerald Mound Fire Department.

Visitation: Sunday, May 6, 2018, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm and Monday, May 7, 2018, from 9:00 to 10:00 am at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Lebanon, IL.

Funeral: Monday, May 7, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Paul UCC.

Interment: St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Lebanon, IL..
