James R. “Rich” Cassady

James R. “Rich” Cassady, 70, of Highland, IL, died Thursday, January 24, 2013, at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, IL.

Rich was born July 1, 1942, to Theodore and Juanita (Nee Mc Dowell) Cassady, in E. St. Louis, IL.

He was Past-President and CEO of Spartan Printing. He was a member of the Elks Club, Effingham, IL. He loved Cardinal baseball. He loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his 7 children, Richie Cassady, Steve (Kathy) Cassady, Dan (Jennifer) Cassady, Bill Oberg, Cara Cassady, Stephanie Anderson, Patrick Cassady; 1 sister, Mary (Dennis) Cassady-Kepler, 4 brothers, John (Nancy) Cassady, David Cassady, Pat (Jody) Cassady, Allen (Missy) Cassady; 12 grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Juanita Cassady.

Private services are scheduled.
