James R. Arey, 90, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at his home in Dorsey, Illinois.
He was born on October 31, 1935, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Elmer and Marie (nee Huetsch) Arey. He married the love of his life, Juanita Kirchner, on June 13, 1959, at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Collinsville, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of almost 40 years, Juanita Arey; parents, Elmer and Marie Arey, and siblings, Thomas Arey and William Arey.
James is survived by his children, Robert Arey, Beth (Leslie) Pohle, Brian (Tiffany) Arey, Maria (Keith) Fehd; grandchildren, James Arey, Alexander Arey, Nick Donahue, Samantha (Ben) Taylor, and Nicole Fehd; great grandchildren, Arabella Taylor, and Aaron Taylor; nieces, nephews, and many loving friends.
