JaLayne Renee Lionberger (Shaw), 61, of Trenton, IL passed away at her home on April 4, 2026.
She was born on March 2, 1965, in Neillsville, Wisconsin, to Donald Shaw and Eleanor (Demert) Jacobs. She married Thomas Lionberger in 1989, and they had two children.
As a United States Air Force Veteran, JaLayne served her country honorably for 25 years. Her service included a tour of duty in Afghanistan and many commendations.
JaLayne was a Jack AND Master of all trades. Nobody had a greener thumb, baked a better apple pie, or could build a woodshed (on her own) in a single afternoon. Everything JaLayne touched or lavished her attention upon, flourished in her care. None benefitted more than her children, Jordyn and Cole, who were her reason for being. Of her many, many accolades, JaLayne could place being a mother at the top of her list.
JaLayne is survived by her daughter, Jordyn (Dustin) Isenhart; son, Cole (Abbie) Lionberger; grandsons, Kash, Beau, Jett, and Lane; and a much anticipated and soon to arrive granddaughter.
She is also survived by many brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews. She will be missed more than she could ever know.
JaLayne will be buried at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
