Ivan Moreton

Ivan Moreton, born March 9, 1936, of Lebanon, IL died of natural causes August 17, 2015 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL, surrounded by his family.

He is survived by his wife Phyllis, of 59 years, sons Philip (Linda) of Chicago, IL, Timothy (Jessica) of Dahlgren, IL, Andrew (Kelli) of Wildwood, MO, 6 grandchildren and 2 brothers.

He was preceded in his death by his parents, Beatrice and Samuel, and 3 older brothers.

Ivan was born in Harworth, Nottinghamshire, England and moved to the United States in 1973.  He enjoyed a 38 year career in the coal mining industry and 20 years as an antique dealer in Lebanon, IL.

Honorarium donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of St. Louis, in the name of Phyllis Moreton.

Memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2015 from 5:00 to 6:30 at the First United Methodist Church, 603 W. St. Louis, St., Lebanon, IL with a service to follow.
