Ivan E. Miller, Sgt, Us Army Ret”D

Ivan E. Miller, Sgt, US Army RET"D, 76 of Pocahontas, IL died October 9, 2007 at the Alhambra Care Center, Alhambra, IL.   He was born in Pinckneyville, IL on June 20, 1931 to Scott and Mary (Byer) Miller, and they are both deceased.  On December 30, 1992 he married Margaret A.M. Kuper in Greenville, IL and she survives.

Ivan was career US Army and served as a Medic.  He was well known as a beekeeper and also worked with wildlife and was a conservationist.

He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.

Visitation:  Friday, October 12, 2007 from 9:30 - 11:00 A.M. at the May Funeral Home in Pocahontas, IL.

Funeral:  Friday, October 12, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at the May Funeral Home, with Rev. Wayne Pierce officiating.    Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Florissant, MO with full Military honors.
