Irwin C. Rayphole

Irwin C. Rayphole, 77, of Greenville, IL, died Monday, January 7, 2013 at his residence.

Irwin was born December 2, 1935, in Sorento, IL, to Harold and Arminta (Nee Wienberg) Rayphole. On November 9, 1957, he married Bettie J. Fleming, in Fort Gaines, GA.

Irwin worked on the railroad for Conrail for many years. He was a baseball fan and watched both the St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs. He loved to take his grandkids on riding lawn mower rides. He liked to hunt and fish, he loved to go coon hunting.

He is survived by his son, Lloyd C. (Fiancé Julie Ulmer) Rayphole, Greenville, IL; 3 grandchildren, Michael, Harley, Hunter Rayphole; 1 sister, Mary Kiffmeyer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Arminta Rayphole; his wife, Betty Rayphole.

Visitation: Thursday, January 10, 2013, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Friday, January 11, 2013, from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Meridith Funeral Home, Pocahontas, IL.
