Howard Richard Fesler

Howard Richard Fesler, 84, of West Salem, Illinois passed away on Monday, July 13, 2026 at Haven on the River in Grayville, Illinois.

Howard was born on January 22, 1942 in Mt. Carmel, Illinois, the son of Gilbert and Thelma (Cargill) Fesler. He married his wife, Rose, in 1965 and they enjoyed over 60 years of marriage. He worked at Roadmaster for 42 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially deer hunting. He enjoyed repairing anything that was broken. He was a member of 3 Crosses Church in Bone Gap, Illinois.

Howard is survived by his wife, Rose; their children, Leta Phillips, and Tony (AJ Kieffer) Fesler; 4 grandchildren, Robby, Summer, Paige and Elle..

He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant daughter, Molly; and a sister, Charlotte Hooker.
