Herbert W. "Chub" Sidwell, 47, of Pocahontas, IL died December 28, 2008 at St. John's Hospital, Springfield, IL.   He was born January 18, 1961 in Greenville, IL to William M. and Estelle G. (Meskil) Sidwell, and they are both deceased.

Survived by:  1 Son - Neal Sidwell, Greenville, IL; 1 Grandson, Hayden Sidwell, Greenville, IL; 1 Brother and 3 Sisters:  Twins - Shirley (Ron) Lynch - Greenville, and Bonnie (Bill) Robey, Effingham, IL;  William P. (Vickie) Sidwell, Keysport, IL;  Linda (Marcus) Korsmeyer, Alhambra, IL; 1 Sister-in-Law - Dorothy Sidwell, Breese, IL.

Also preceded in death by:  3 Brothers, Morris Sidwell, Jimmy Sidwell, Danny Sidwell and 1 Sister - Connie Rhodes.

He was a laborer with Carlyle Local, Laborers Union- Construction.

He was an avid Arizona Cardinal Fan.

VISITATION:  Saturday, January 3, 2009 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. @ Meridith Funeral Home in Pocahontas, IL.
