Helen F. Kohler (Nee Edgette), 89, of St. Louis, MO, died Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at St. Anthony’s Hospital, St. Louis, MO.

Helen was born on September 25, 1923, in Utica, NY, to John Harmon and Elizabeth (Nee Dehs) Edgette.  On June 2, 1952, she married Harry J. Kohler in Hamilton, Bermuda.

She was a registered nurse at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Belleville, IL

She is survived by her children, Chris (Karen McClellan) Kohler, Carlisle, PA, Fran (Aubrey Gerlaugh) Kohler, Marietta, GA, Barbara Kohler, Somerville, MA, Deborah (Ronald) Elderton, Festus, MO, Karen Abdulla, Peabody, MA, Anita (John) Atkinson, St. Louis, MO, Jacqueline (Sam Gowan) Kohler-Katz, Richardson, TX; grandchildren Christina (C.J.) Johnson, Craig Kohler, Daniel (Jennifer) Gerlaugh, Amanda Gerlaugh, Melissa (Jeffrey) Lee, Nicholas (Sherrie) Hardebeck, Laura Hardebeck, Mechelle Frazier, Jasmine (Jay) Magyar, Colin Atkinson, Tyler Atkinson, Grant Atkinson, Calvin Kohler, Truman Katz; great grandchildren Anya Johnson, Aric Gerlaugh, Aidan Lee, Addison Lee, Ashton Lee, Jacob Magyar.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Harmon and Elizabeth Edgette; her husband, Harry J. Kohler (October 25, 2003); one granddaughter Lindsey Abdulla; her identical twin Elizabeth Egger; one brother John Harmon Edgette.

Memorials:  St. Joseph Church, Family Hospice of Belleville or Alzheimers Association.

Mass of Christian Burial:  Friday, May 31, 2013, at 10:00 am, at St. Joseph Church, Lebanon, IL.

Interment:  Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
