Hardy Alfred Lee, Jr.

Hardy Alfred Lee, Jr. of Burnt Prairie, IL, passed away on Sunday September 26, 2021, at Fairfield Memorial Hospital in Fairfield, IL.  He was born on June 25, 1950, to Hardy Alfred Lee, Sr. and Della (Daniels) Lee in Albion, IL.  Hardy married Frances Guerrero on August 14, 1968, in Charleston, SC and she survives.

He was a good husband, father, grandfather, and brother and well liked by all who met him. Hardy loved fishing, playing cards and dice and having a beer with friends and loved to joke around. He loved being outdoors, walking around the farm or on his tractor. Hardy was always willing to help anyone in need and will be greatly missed by all.

Hardy is survived by his wife Fances (Guerrero) Lee of Burnt Prairie, IL,  four daughters; Regina (Richard) Gomez, Fairfield, IL, Serina (Carl) Hauser, Elburn, IL, Sabrina (Phillip) Nelson, Plano, IL, Corrina (Douglas) Bobee, Sandwich, IL, one son; Hardy (Beth) Lee, III, Burnt Prairie, IL, one special niece; Barbara Jane Turner, CA, fifteen grandchildren; Gus ( Fiance’ Xu Han) Gomez M.D., Krystle (Ryan) Sager, Tiffany Gomez, Daniel (Addy) Gomez, Rolando (Taylor) Gomez, Drew Hauser, DeVontay Leftridge, Maddison Leftridge, Nehemiah Nelson, Allison Nelson, Riken Bobee, Seth Bobee, Ezra Bobee, Jayden Lee, Darien Parsley, many great-grandchildren,  one brother; Earl Lee of Albion IL, and many other nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Hardy Alfred Lee, Sr. and Della (Daniels) Lee, sisters; Becky Campbell, Ida Faye Baxter, Rita Lee, brother; James Lee, nephew; Michael Lee and niece; Stacy Vaupel

Visitation will be on Friday October 1, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Ingram-Meridith Funeral Home in Albion, IL.

Funeral Service will be Friday October 1, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Ingram-Meridith Funeral Home, Albion, IL.

The family requests those attending to dress casually.
