Glenn L. Podesva

Glenn L. Podesva, 78 of Lebanon, IL died August 1, 2009 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Belleville, IL.  He was born December 15, 1930 to Jaraslov "Jerry" and Elizabeth (Eberhardt) Podesva in Lebanon, IL.  They are both deceased.

Survived by: one brother - Jerome "Jerry" (Corinne) Podesva, E. Alton, IL; one sister - Theresa Beutler - Lebanon, IL;  nieces and nephews  Darrell, Mark, & Matthew Beutler, Lebanon, IL;  Carla (Larry) Holt, Rantoul, IL, Cecelia (Tom) Barbee, Belleville, IL,  James Podesva - E. Alton, IL;  Becky (Tim) Retzer - Woodriver, IL.

He served in the U.S. Army discharged in 1960 as a Corporal.  Was a custodian for Lebanon Elementary School and McKendree University.   Also a member of the Lebanon Garden Club.

VISITATION:  Wednesday, August 5, 2009 from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. @ Meyer Funeral Home, Lebanon, IL.

FUNERAL:  Wednesday, August 5th at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Joy Cashetta, Pastor, First United Methodist Church, Lebanon, IL.  Interment in College Hill Cemetery, Lebanon, IL.
