Geneva Mae Hediger

Geneva Mae Hediger (Nee Stanley), 92, of Highland, IL, died Friday, February 1, 2013, at St. Joseph Hospital, IL.

Geneva was born October 12, 1920, to James M. and Lola (Nee Rudolph) Stanley. On December 12, 1939 she married John Louis Hediger at E & R Church, Highland, IL.

Geneva was a lifelong member of Evangelical United Church of Christ, Highland, IL, she was a member of Highland-Pierron Fire Department Auxiliary and a former member of The Blue Jacket Navy Mothers Club.

She is survived by 1 daughter, Gloria Jean Stephens, Norco, CA; 1 grandchild, Jeffrey.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lola Stanley; her husband, John Hediger; 1 son, John J. Hediger; 2 brothers, James R. Stanley, Paul Stanley.

Graveside service: Monday, February 11, 2013, at 2:00 pm at Highland City Cemetery, Highland, IL.
