Gene Lawrence, 59, of Collinsville, IL., departed from this Earth, Thursday, April 22, 2021, at his residence.
He was born September 12, 1961 to Roland and Sophie (nee Hutlock) Lawrence.
Gene was a Laborer through Local 44 in Collinsville, for 25 years. He was a hard worker, a good and kind man, who loved animals and enjoyed being outside spending time in nature.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roland and Sophie Lawrence; brother, Jesse Lawrence.
Gene is survived by his brother, James Lawrence; fiancé, Linda Smith-Helton.
No services are scheduled.
