Gary J. Gacevich, 76, of Highland, IL, died Monday, January 8, 2024, at his home.
He was born March 6, 1947, to Jacob and Lorene (Nee Crank) Gacevich, in East St. Louis, IL. On July 8, 1972, Gary married Helen Gacevich.
Gary was an Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War. He worked in auto manufacturing for 24 years before retiring in 2009. Gary was a member of the St. Paul Catholic Church, American Legion Post 439, a 4 th Degree Knight of Columbus, and a member of numerous community organizations.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Gacevich, and his sister, Charlotte Fott.
