Fern E. Zeller

Fern E. Zeller (nee Hediger), 95, of Pocahontas, IL, died Friday, August 17, 2012, at her residence.

Fern was born July 7, 1917 to Charles R. and Emma M (nee Munton) Hediger, at home in Bond County.  She married Lester “Big Boy” Zeller.

Fern loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren.  She enjoyed cooking and sewing.  She loved the outdoors taking care of her garden and her flowers and her chickens.  She loved to watch WWF wrestling.

She is survived by 2 children, August Haegler, Pocahontas, IL, Julia (Ron) Robertson, Pocahontas, IL; 1 granddaughter, Eileen Robertson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Emma Hediger; her husband, Lester Zeller; 3 brothers, Charles R. and Harry E. Hediger, and 1 in infancy; 1 grandson, Lester Robertson.

Visitation: Tuesday, August 21, 2012, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, August 22, 2012, from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Meridith Funeral Home, Pocahontas, IL.

Funeral: Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Meridith Funeral Home

Interment: Highland City Cemetery, Highland, IL.
