Eula Mae Goedecke (nee Wyatt), 82, of Pocahontas, IL, died Monday, January 19, 2015, at her residence.

Eula Mae was born on April 6, 1932, to Abraham and Vennie (nee Williams) Wyatt in Jonesville, VA. On February 4, 1958, she married Robert Wallace Goedecke in Jonesville, VA.

She was a member of the 1 ^st Baptist Church in Pocahontas. She was very dedicated to her church. She was a member of Royal Neighbors and Senior Citizens. She was a caregiver throughout her life. She loved her family and her flowers.

She is survived by her 5 children, Sharon (Jim) Weiss, Pocahontas, IL, Scott (Mary) Goedecke, Pocahontas, IL, Gary Goedecke, Pocahontas, IL, Sandy (Darrin) Hewitt, Pocahontas, IL, Rob (Christie) Goedecke, Collinsville, IL; 7 grandchildren, Joshua, Jesse, Nicholas, Ethan, Michael, Ryan, Samuel; 1 great grandchild, Benjamin; 1 sister, Gertie (Cecil) Allen, Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Abraham and Vennie Wyatt; her husband, Robert Wallace Goedecke (1998); 3 brothers; 1 sister; 1 niece, Hazel Kamp (Dec 28, 2014).

Memorials may be made to the 1 ^st Baptist Church.

Visitation: Thursday, January 22, 2015, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, and Friday, January 23, 2015, from 8:00 to 11:00 am, at Meridith Funeral Home, Pocahontas, IL.

Funeral Service: Friday, January 23, 2015, at 11:00 am at Meridith Funeral Home, Pocahontas, IL.
