Eugene "Gene" Gorman, 84, of Highland, IL, died Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at Highland Health Care Center, Highland, IL.

Gene was born November 30, 1926, to Raymond and Lucille (nee Shymanski) Gorman, in St. Louis, MO.

On February 3, 1951 he married Dorothy A. Ozment, in St. Louis, MO.

Gene was a pipefitter for Laclede Gas Co.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Gorman, Highland, IL; 3 children; 1 Sister; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.

A Graveside service is scheduled for Friday, April 8, 2011 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery Chapel, St. Louis, MO at 12:30 p.m.
