Ernest Medler

Ernest Medler, 79, of Ellery, IL passed on December 11, 2019 at Deaconess Midtown in Evansville, IN.

He was born February 27, 1940 in Browns, IL, the son of Mildred (Tesh) and Athel Medler. He married Connie Knapp on November 26, 1960 in Mt. Carmel, IL and she survives.

Ernest was a Jehovah’s Witness and had worked at Snap-On Tools for 37 years.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Connie; two sons: Gerald (Lora) Medler and Damian (Alisa) Medler; a grandson, Jedidiah (Dorie) Medler; and a great-grandson, Josiah.

Per his wishes, Ernest was cremated, and no formal services are planned.
