Ellen E. Drda

Ellen E. Drda, 95, (nee Bardill) of Highland, IL, died Saturday, March 29, 2014, at the Highland Health Care Center, Highland, IL.

Ellen was born December 20, 1918, to Orville Edward and Helen (nee Feutz) Bardill, in Highland, IL.   She was married to Francis Drda.

She was employed by Gladys’ Fabric Shop and was actively involved in Navy Mothers.

She is survived by 2 granddaughters, Tami Drda Corday (Jeremy) and Becky Drda (fiance Mike Cieslowski); 1 daughter-in-law, Carole Kraigher Drda Schuepbach.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Helen Bardill; her husband, Francis Drda (1977); her son, Thomas Drda (1988).

A family service was held on Thursday, April 3, 2014, 9:00-10:00 am, at Meridith Funeral Home, Highland, IL.

Interment:  Highland City Cemetery, Highland, IL.
