Elizabeth J. “Betty” Cotts

Elizabeth J. "Betty" Cotts, nee Brinkman, 90, of Lebanon, IL died December 18, 2009 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Belleville, IL.  She was born November 12, 1919 in LaCrosse, WI to John and Alice, nee Matiak, Brinkman.  She married James Cotts in St. Louis, Mo.

She is survived by: a daughter, Judith (Richard) Ogden, Lebanon, IL;  and a son John (Jane) Cotts, of Lebanon, IL: 7 Grandchildren - Ginger (John) Johnson, Todd Ogden, Lori (Rod) Reinneck, Michael (Natalie) Ogden, Stephen (Barbara) Ogden, Neal (Jaime) Cotts and David (Katie) Cotts; 13 Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Cotts, her parents, a brother, Robert Brinkman, and a sister, Lois Campbell.

Betty was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Lebanon, IL, the Ladies Lions, Eastern Star, Eta Phi Beta Sorority.  She was a Civil Services Contracting Spec and worked for DECCO.

VISITATION:  9:00 - 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 21, 2009 at St. Paul UCC, Lebanon, IL.

FUNERAL SERVICE:  11:00 a.m. at the Church with Rev. Don Wagner officiating and burial in College Hill Cemetery, Lebanon, IL.

MEMORIALS:  Hospice of Southern IL or Lebanon Winter Wonderland.
