Elijah L. Mack

Elijah L. Mack, 72, of Lebanon, IL died Monday, November 17, 2008 at the Atrium Health Care Center, Cahokia, IL.  He was born in Lebanon, IL to Elijah and Luvester (Wallace) Mack on March 25, 1936 in Lebanon, IL.

He is survived by one brother, Landall (Magnolia) Mack, Lebanon, IL;  one sister, Faither M. Ivy, Vallejo, CA and a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by 2 brothers - Frank & Eddie Mack, and 2 Sisters - Dorothy and Eretha Mack

Mr. Mack was a laborer for East Side Casting, E. St. Louis, McKendree College, Lebanon and Kaiser Steel in Vallejo, CA  also did casual farm work.

A Member of One Way Apostolic Church of Christ, E. St. Louis, IL and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and distance walking.

VISITATION: Saturday, November 22, 2008 at the Greater Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Lebanon, IL.

FUNERAL:  Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at the Church with the Rev. Dr. W.J. Griffin and Elder Harvey Mcdonald, Jr. officiating.   Burial in College Hill Cemetery, Lebanon, IL.
