She was born on December 26, 1929 in Denver, CO to Earl and Selma (nee Gustafson) Bediant.
Eleanor was a long-time resident of Collinsville, IL.
Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Selma Bediant; husband, George Summers; brother, Harvey Bediant; sister, Dorothy Summers.
She is survived by her children, Eddie (Kathy) Summers, Norman (Mary Ellen) Summers, Barbara Lucero; grandchildren, David, Airenne, Sarah, Kirsten, Allison and Christopher.
Memorials may be made to Liberty Village, Maryville, IL.
Visitation: Tuesday, March 1, 2022, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Kassly-Meriidth Funeral Home, Collinsville, IL.
