Elaine Ann Hughes

Elaine Ann Hughes, 84 of Cisne, Illinois passed into the arms of Jesus on February 9, 2022, at her home.  She married the love of her life Theodore R. Hughes Sr. on September 9, 1960, and they shared fifty years of marriage until his passing in 2011.

They were the parents of two sons, Ted Hughes, Jr of Cisne, Illinois, and Mark Hughes of West Frankfort, Illinois.  Elaine worked at Spartan Manufacturing for many years as well as being a farm wife.

She leaves behind her sons and their spouses, Nila Hughes and Carol Hughes.  Also surviving are her grandchildren, Travis (Jessica) Hughes, Lauren (Justin Hilderbrand) Hughes, Mark (Chrissy) Hughes, Jr., and Megan Hughes, as well six great grandchildren.

Private family services are being planned at Hosselton-Meridith Funeral Home at Cisne, Illinois.  Burial will be in Cisne Cemetery in Cisne, Illinois
