Edward G. “Ed” Wynne

Edward G. “Ed” Wynne, 77, of Highland, IL, died Friday, May 19, 2017, at his residence.

Ed was born October 31, 1939, to Woodrow and Naomi (nee Ray) Wynne, in Hickman, KY. On October 4, 1958, he married Darlene Wilmurth, in E. St. Louis, IL.

He was a member of Older Wise Lord’s Servants (OWLS). He was a gentle soul. He enjoyed hard work, woodworking, fishing, family, and the house to be full of family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene Wynne, Highland, IL; Son, Timothy (Jeri) Wynne; Daughters, Kimberly (William) Pfister and Marcia Baer; Grandchildren, Jennifer (Kelvin) Jones, Amy Grams, Kara (Elliott) Brookins, Matthew (Tia) Baer, Jaclyn Ardiuni, Megan (Alex) Garza, Sara Baer, Carter Wynne; Great Grandchildren, Dralyn, Mariah, Caleb, Noah, Colton, Logan, Kamden, Jace, Kennidi, Jaxon, Aubrey, Raiden.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Woodrow and Naomi Wynne; Sister, Beverly Ann Wynne.

Memorial Visitation: Monday, May 22, 2017, from 10:00 to 11:00 am, at Meridith Funeral Home, Highland, IL.

Memorial Service: Monday, May 22, 2017, 11:00 am, at Meridith Funeral Home.

Clergy: Rev. Dr. Beverly Wilkes Null, Pastor, Highland Hope United Methodist Church.

Interment: At a Later Date.
