Dustin Lee Brown

Dustin Lee Brown, 26, of Lebanon, IL, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 23, 2022, outside of Elsah, IL.

Dustin was born January 20, 1996, to Beau and Bobbie Jo (nee Pfeiffer) Brown, one of a pair of twins, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Clayton, MO.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Lebanon, IL.  While attending Western Illinois University, Dustin belonged to Pi Kappa Phi fraternity and volunteered for the Suicide Prevention Hotline.

Dustin participated in Build America, and Dance Marathon for Children’s Miracle Network. He had also worked for the Hope Clinic in O’Fallon, IL with autistic children, and recently had been working with Beverly Farms as Operational Specialist, with the developmentally disabled.  In his free time, Dustin loved dancing, singing, and motorcycles.  He was outgoing, with a charismatic personality, and always had a smile on his face.

John 15:13 explains Dustin to a T;  “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”

Dustin is survived by his parents, Beau and Bobbie Jo Brown, Lebanon, IL; twin brother, Austin (fiance’, Alyssa Webb) Brown; sister, Caitlin (significant other, Keegan Borum) Brown; nephew, Zach Brown; grandparents, Carol and Steve Brown and Barbara and Robert Pfeiffer; aunts and uncles, Stephanie & Randy Rogers, Katie & Stevie Pfeiffer; cousins, Brett (Sydney Lewis) Maggio, Tommy (Cassidy) Maggio; Alexia Pfeiffer, Andrew Pfeiffer,  Britney Woolever, Brandon Woolever; his furbaby, Buster Brown; and Dustin’s “brothers from another mother”, Austin Spa, Josh (Kelcee) Pederson, and Mike (Summer) Wheeler.

Memorials may be made to Beverly Farms, Hope Clinic, or First United Methodist Church in Lebanon, IL.

Memorial Visitation:  Monday, August 1, 2022, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm, then after the service from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm, at First United Methodist Church, Lebanon, IL.

Memorial Service:  Monday, August 1, 2022, 5:00 pm, First United Methodist Church, Lebanon, IL.
