Doris Ann Rodgers-Wallace, Nee Rogers

Doris Ann Rodgers-Wallace, nee Rogers, 71, of Lebanon, IL, formerly of Wichita Falls, Texas died November 3, 2007 at her residence.  She was born in Oklahoma City, OK on June 19, 1936 to Melvin and Alma Marie (Griffin) Rogers and they are both deceased.  In 1954 she married R.J. Rodgers in Wichita Falls, Texas, and he died June 24, 1970.  She then married William Wallace in 1971 in Wichita Falls, Texas, and he survives.

Also survived by one son and five daughters.  Randall (Denise) Rodgers - Caseyville, IL;  Rhonda (Martin) Coleman - New Baden, IL:  Linda (John) Scott - Wichita Falls, Texas;  Barbara (John) Heacox - McKinney, Texas;  Mary Ellen (Kelly) Bobo - Mesquite, Texas; Carol (Dave) Mitasky - Cape Cod, Maine;  many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Doris was a homemaker and worked as a hairdresser and cosmotologist for 33 years.  At an early age (1969), she was baptized into the Baptist Faith.

Private family funeral Monday, November 5, 2007.  Burial in College Hill Cemetery, Lebanon, IL.  There is no visitation.
