Diana Jean Mason

Diana Jean Mason, 76, of Albion, IL passed away Tuesday, March 14 ^th , 2023, at Meadowbrook Nursing Home in Grayville, IL.  She was born August 17 ^th , 1946, in Albion, IL to Harlan and Florence (Daubs) Hortin.  Diana married Gary Mason in Albion, IL on June 5 ^th , 1966, and he survives.

She was a member of the Grayville United Methodist Church.  Diana loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren.  Diana liked to read, loved playing the piano and playing cards with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Mason; Son, Derek (Jessica McDonald) Mason; son-in-law Jayson Murbarger; two sisters, Lana (David) Wheatcroft, Cindy (Randy) Copeland; two brothers, Kenny (Carolyn) Hortin, Roger (Cathy) Hortin; four grandchildren, Tristan (Billie), Britney (Ben), Kelsey (Elijah), Brodey; three great-grandchildren, Ramsey, Jenae and Paxton.

Diana is preceded in death by her parents, Harlan and Florence Hortin and daughter Jennifer Murbarger.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home or donations can be made online at www.alz.org.

Visitation:  Monday, March 20 ^th , 2023, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.  Ingram Meridith Funeral Home, Albion, IL.  The family has requested casual dress for those attending the services.
