Delmar Luettinger, 85, Summerfield, IL, died Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at Memorial Hospital East, Shiloh, IL.
Delmar was born May 4, 1932, in Summerfield, IL, to Erwin and Frieda (nee Schildnecht) Luettinger. On July 3, 1970, he married Mildred Klein.
He was a member of Local 4 Stove Mounters Union and Local 660 Machinist Aerospace Workers Union. He was an Army veteran and served in the Korean War. Delmar retired from B Line Systems in Highland IL after 16 years. He also worked at Eagle Range Stove Co, Belleville, IL, and had farmed all his life.
He is survived by a Stepdaughter, Kathleen (James) Ferrall, Lebanon, IL; Granddaughter, Melissa (Paul) Bybee, Grain Valley, MO; Great Granddaughters, Adelyn and Hailey Bybee; Sister-in-Law, Dorothy Luettinger, Trenton, IL.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Erwin and Frieda Luettinger; Wife, Mildred Luettinger; Brother, Eugene Luettinger
Memorials may be made to Lebanon High School Softball TeamĀ or Belleville Area Humane Society.
