Debra L. Hofer

Debra L. Hofer (Nee Keller), 57, of Highland, IL, died Sunday, August 17, 2014, at Kindred Hospital, St. Louis, MO.

Debra was born December 26, 1956, to Vincent A. “Bud” and Lettie L. (nee Hagler) Keller, in Highland, IL. On December 15, 1981, she married Daniel J. Hofer, in Edwardsville, IL.

Debra had worked with her mother at the family gas station, Kellers Dalie gas and oil station. She had also worked at Dollar General, Ace Hardware and other places in the Highland area.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel J. Hofer; 1 son, Justin L. Hofer, New Douglas, IL; 1 step-son, Robert (Sherry) Hofer, Bartelso, IL; 3 step-grandchildren, Samantha, Mackenzie, Robert.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Lettie Keller.

Visitation: Thursday, August 21, 2014, from 9:00 – 11:00 am, at Meridith Funeral Home, Highland, IL.
