Debora “Debbie” S. Komoromi, 64, of Granite City, IL, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.
She was born on November 2, 1961, in East St. Louis, IL, to Albert and Phyllis (nee Lemons) Komoromi.
Debbie was a woman whose kindness knew no bounds and whose presence brought warmth to everyone she met. A truly selfless soul with a heart of gold, she spent her life putting others before herself, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a comforting word.
She had a remarkable gift for connection—never meeting a stranger, only new friends. Whether through a simple conversation or a lasting friendship, Debbie made people feel seen, valued, and loved. Her generosity of spirit and genuine compassion left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Debbie’s life was a reflection of love, kindness, and unwavering care for others. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the countless lives she touched with her gentle heart and giving nature.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Albert and Phyllis.
Debbie is survived by her children, Ricky (Jennifer) Pado, Nicky (Jessica) Pado, Kim Biggins; grandchildren, Kylie, Wade, Savannah; sister, Pyllea (Jim) Taylor; stepsiblings, Bambi, Brandi, Jay, Scott, Alex; great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many loving friends.
Visitation: Sunday, April 12, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, at Kassly-Meridith Funeral Home, Collinsville, IL.
