Darlene Martin Wynne

Darlene Martin Wynne (Wilmurth), 81, of Highland, IL, went to be with the Lord on November 26, 2024, with her family at her bedside.

Darlene was born December 22, 1942 to James and Zella Wilmurth in East Prairie, MO.  On October 4, 1958 she married Edward G. Wynne in East St. Louis, IL, he preceded her in death.

Darlene was a member of Highland Hope United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the OWLS (Older Wiser Lord’s Servants).

She is survived by her children, Kimberly Pfister of Highland, IL, Timothy (Jeri) Wynne of Lebanon, MO and Marcia (Tommy) Daly-Orr of Angleton, TX; grandchildren, Jenifer (Kelvin) Jones, Amy Grams, Kara (Eric) Glover, Jacilyn Arduini, Matthew (Tia) Baer, Megan Garza, Sara Baer, Carter Wynne; great grandchildren, Mariah, Caleb, Noah, Colten, Zion, Logan, Kamden, Jace, Kennedi, Jaxon, Aubrey, Raiden, Theo and Iris; great great grandchild, Marcus.

No services will be held, the family asks for donations to be made to Highland Hope UMC OWLS group.

A private interment with the family will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are being handled by the Meridith Funeral Home,  Highland, IL.
