Christine Lea Kuczka

Christine Lea Kuczka, 63, of Pocahontas, IL, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at HSHS Holy Family Hospital in Greenville, IL.

She was born on March 29, 1962, in Greenville, Illinois, to Ronald and Sandra (nee Cusick) Blankenship. She married the love of her life, David Kuczka, on September 24, 1999.

Christine was a devoted housewife and excelled at creating band uniforms, and other attire for schools and colleges. She worked at Basler Electric, United Stationers, and DeMoulin Bros and Co.. She loved to keep her home clean, she loved daffodils and carnations, and was a lot of fun to be around. She used to compete in the dart league.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sandra Daum, stepfather, Gene Daum, sister, Donna Blankenship, brothers-in-law Rich Jacob, Christian Barbetzi, nephew, J.D. Handshy Jr..

Christine is survived by her loving husband, David Kuczka; father, Ronald Blankenship; sisters, Dixie Bargetzi, Penny Jacob, Judy (Dan) Neier, Cheryl (Chris) Michael, Janice (Mark) Pilkerton, Carla Korte; brothers, Russ (Tammy) Blankenship, Danny (Cindy) Daum; uncle, Larry Cusick; nieces, nephews, cousins, and many loving friends.
