Charlotte Kay Jahns, 74, of Collinsville, IL, passed away November 11, 2021, in her home surrounded by family.
She was born July 7, 1947, in East St. Louis, IL to Wilford and Marcella (nee Bush) Smith. She lived in the Collinsville area most of her life.
Charlotte volunteered as an election judge in Maryville, IL. She loved to spend time with her family and her grandchildren and was an avid FarmVille player. She also loved her dear family pets: Tom-Tom, Tiny, Buster, Libby, Mo-Mo, Minnie, and Miko.
She is survived by her loving children, Cassandra (Mark) Cretton, Denise Jahns, Bill (Becky) Jahns; beloved grandchildren, Zachary Jahns, Chandra Cretton, Savannah Foster, Dylan Jahns, Charlotte Avila, Dehlia Meunier, Dakota Petkus; many precious great-grandchildren, Jadalynn, Lillian, Addalynn, Lydia, Zachary, Bryson, Cammille, River, Annabelle, Emmett, Owen.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilford and Marcella Smith; husband, Gary W. Jahns.
