Charles W. “Charlie” Mohme

Charles W. "Charlie" Mohme, 69 of Lebanon, IL died July 20, 2007 at St. Joseph Hospital, Breese, IL.  He was born June 15, 1938 in New Douglas, IL to Emil and Ruanna (Clayton) Mohme, both deceased.  On January 16, 1982 he married Jane Gilmartin-O'Connor in Lebanon and she preceded him in death, November 19, 1998.

He is survived by four children - Jerry P. (Suzanne) Mohme - Bastrop, Texas;  Lee C. Mohme - Trenton, IL.....who died July 23, 2007;  Thomas E. (Connie) O'Connor - Divide, CO;  Christen B. (Mark) Bleisch - Shiloh, IL; 5 grandchildren - Jadii Mohme;  Caren Hodges;  Leslie Mohme;  Shaunda Mohme; and Scott Mohme.  1 great grandchild - Aiden Mudd; 1 brother - Emil Paul (Carol) Mohme - Benton, Kentucky.

He was a lifelong auto mechanic in Lebanon over 40 years.   He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Lebanon;  former member of Lebanon Chamber of Commerce and Lions Club;  the Gravely Tractor Assoc. and a retired member of the Lebanon Volunteer Fire Department.

Visitation:  Wednesday, July 25, 2007 from 9:00 - 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church, Lebanon, IL;

Funeral:  Wednesday, July 25, 2007 @ 11:00 Am at the Church with the Rev. Joy Caschetta, Pastor, officiating.

Memorials may be offered to the Lebanon Volunteer Fire Department.
