Charles S. Zucca

Charles S. “Chuck” Zucca, 64, of Pocahontas, IL, died Sunday, May 5, 2013 at his residence.

Chuck was born October 26, 1948, to Deno and Hazel (Nee Gillespie) Zucca.  He worked as an Operating Engineer for Local 520 for many years.  Later he worked for Funderburk’s Gas and Diner, Pocahontas, IL.  He was a huge Cubs fan.  He loved sports and hunting.  He loved to watch auto racing.

He is survived by 1 son, Charles S. Zucca, Jr., Houston, TX; 1 granddaughter, Zoe Zucca; 2 sisters, Carol (Joe) Heilig, Tina (Dewey) Aper; 2 brothers, Deno (Vicki) Zucca, Todd (Diane) Zucca; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Deno and Hazel Zucca.
