Charlene E. (Nee Finder) Swift

Charlene E. Swift (nee Finder), 77, of Belleville, IL, passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025, at Belleville Memorial Hospital.

She was born on January 3, 1948, in Kansas City, MO, to Harold and Mary (nee Bozada) Finder.

Charlene loved the simple joys in life: watching old western movies, enjoying her morning coffee, and spending quiet time with her puzzle books. She especially loved playing with her son’s dogs, Harley and Delilah, who brought her so much happiness.

She spent her later years at the St. Paul Nursing Home, where she made many close friends and was known for her kindness and gentle spirit.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Mary Finder; son Robert (Laura) Finder; granddaughter, Montana Finder; siblings, Harold Finder Jr., Sharon Everts, John Finder.

Charlene is survived by her son, Tim (Amy) Finder; grandchildren, Seth (Victoria) Ozee, Nicholas Finder, Laney (Jaden) Smith, Robert Michael Finder; great-grandchildren, Oliver, Grayson, Caden, Josephine; siblings, Michael Finder, Kathleena, Dennis Finder.

A burial will take place at a later date.
