Cathy S. Copeland

Cathy S. Copeland, 59, of Caseyville, IL, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

She was born on July 11, 1961, to Johnny and Betty (Bennett) Copeland, in E. St. Louis, IL.

Cathy was a Registered Nurse at St. Elizabeth Hospital and Anderson Hospital; she always liked helping others.  She enjoyed flowers and gardening; and was known for her excellent cooking.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Betty Copeland.

Cathy is survived by her brother, Johnny (Laura Taylor) Copeland, Highland, IL.;  niece, Cristina Copeland, Collinsville, IL.; and nephew, Andrew Copeland, St. Louis, MO.

Memorials may be given to Susan B. Komen or the Alzheimer’s Association for research.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
