Carolyn Sue Myers

Carolyn Sue Myers, 82, of Albion, IL passed away on December 26, 2025 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN surrounded by her loved ones.

Carolyn was born December 28, 1942 in Evansville, IN to Merritt and Ethel (Strunk) Gee.

Carolyn attended the First Baptist Church in Albion, IL. She retired from Champion Laboratories after almost 40 years of dedicated service. She loved visiting around town, and always had a big smile and very pleasant personality. She loved going to Colyer’s Coffee House to visit and enjoy conversation with her extended family of close friends that brought her great joy! She loved family get togethers! She also enjoyed attending youth sporting events around town. She enjoyed sitting on her porch watching her hummingbirds. She was a fan of Elvis Presley and she had an interest in flowers and especially liked sunflowers.

Carolyn is survived by her two sons; Michael (Candy) Wildt and Joseph (Carla) Wildt; her daughter Susan (Stephen) Yandell; a stepson Tim (Terri) Myers; 6 grandchildren: Allyson, Logan, Rylee, Nathanial, Ashley and Magan; and 2 great- grandchildren, Adler and Lily, plus 2 more great-grandchildren on the way; and 2 sisters Lana (Harry) Kortge and Ruth (Gary) Turpin.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her husband Clifford E. Myers; and a stepson, Steve Myers.

Services for Carolyn Sue Myers will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at Ingram Meridith Funeral Home in Albion, IL with visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and her funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Garden of Devotion in Evansville, IN.
