Carole A. Scott

Carole A. Scott, 64, of Lebanon, IL died September 10, 2010 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL.  She was born July 3, 1946 in St. Louis, MO to Clemens C. and Altha M. (nee Swofford) Bernius, both deceased.

MARRIAGE:  Edwin L. Scott on November 5, 1985 in Cahokia, IL, and he survives.

Carole was a self-employed Artist, who was a maker of dolls, bears, and did antique reproductions.  She was a member of the Southern Illinois Doll Association.  A wonderful homemaker who also loved her dogs and cats.

She is survived by her husband, 3 Daughters, Tammy (Derek Bleisch) Hodgkins, Okawville, IL;  Sandy (John) Haggerty, Collinsville, IL; Wendy (Phil Smithe) Maxwell, New Memphis, IL; 10 Grandchildren, Steven Hodgkins, Abby Hodgkins, Emily Hodgkins, Kyle Smith, Amy Smith, John Haggerty, IV, Ian Haggerty, LeeAnn Haggerty, Sara Maxwell, Steven Maxwell, Bobby Jo Smithe.

VISITATION:  Monday, Sept. 13, 2010 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Meyer Funeral Home, Lebanon, IL and Tuesday Sept. 14 from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church, Lebanon, IL.

FUNERAL:  Tuesday, September 14th at 11:00 a.m. at the Church, with the Rev. Joy Cashetta, Pastor, officiating, and burial in Valhalla Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Belleville, IL.

MEMORIALS:  Animal Rescue of St. Louis.
