Bryan Dale Crabtree

d. January 31, 2021

Bryan Dale Crabtree, age 50 of West Salem, IL passed from this life to the next on
January 31, 2021 at his home with his family at his side.
Bryan was born on June 29, 1970 in Evansville, IN to Linda Hutchcraft. Early in his life, Bryan was welcomed into the heart of Warren Crabtree and will remain.
Bryan met his soulmate, Jennifer Nelson on February 8, 1999 and their motto became “Life’s a journey….let’s ride!” Bryan was an avid Harley rider and a member of several organizations; two of which were especially high in his estimation: Rolling Thunder and the West Salem Masonic Lodge #866. He was a tireless, hardworking employee wherever he drew a paycheck; many times working, even though physically sick. He was also as honest as the day is long. Bryan was a respected tattoo artist as well as working in several different mediums. One notable artistic endeavor of his was that in the late 90s he designed and painted the center circle for the basketball court in the Evansville National Guard Armory. The floor was brand new and Bryan used a foil technique that has amazed many and to this day it is a piece of amazing artwork. Bryan loved his family, and especially his six grandchildren who wiggled their way into his heart. He clearly wanted each of them to know they had a special place in his life.
Bryan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bernice and Glen Lamb and Ardella and Delbert Crabtree, his mother, Linda Crabtree and a niece, Brittany Perkins.
He is loved by and will be sadly missed by his soulmate, Jennifer Nelson, his father, Warren L. “Skip” Crabtree, his three daughters: Tiffany Boyd, Candace Crabtree and Alexi Nelson, four sisters: Tina Perkins, Anna Heldenbrand, Laura Pritchard and Patricia Whan, two brothers, Roby Lott and Lee Crabtree and six grandchildren: Zander, Wynona, Jackson, Jetson, Max and Zoe. He will also be deeply missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins, neices and nephews.
