Bruce W. Lorsbach

Bruce W. Lorsbach, 72, of Alhambra, IL, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2025, at his home.

He was born February 25, 1953, to Albert and Corenne (nee Fisher) Lorsbach.

Bruce retired from the Laborers’ Union Local 44. He enjoyed hunting small game, fishing, and collecting Native American artifacts. He had a great sense of humor and always knew how to make people laugh. Most of all, he loved his family deeply. He will be missed and remembered with love.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Corenne Lorsbach; and his first wife Marian Hubbard.

Bruce is survived by his brother, Monty Lorsbach; nephew, Scott Lorsbach; niece Jamie (David) Thornton; great niece, Lindsey Lorsbach; great nephew, Bryce Thornton; stepson, Jeremy Petrait, and former wife, Martie Petrait.

Memorials may be made to the Meadow Heights Baptist Church of Collinsville, IL; or the Gary Sinise Foundation.

Visitation: Friday, May 9, 2025, 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at Kassly-Meridith Funeral Home, Collinsville, IL.

Service: Friday, May 9, 2025, 12:00 PM, at Kassly-Meridith Funeral Home, Collinsville, IL.

Interment: Hardin Cemetery, Hardin, IL.
